Hi Lora…

I’ve been meaning to email you forever but you know life happens…I just wanted to THANK YOU so much for your book and your help with potty training my girls! We are going on 6 months now and everything is great! Few incidents in the beginning but now all is well… (accidents will happen…) my girls are potty trained!!!!! We take a portable travel potty with us in the car which has been a God send when traveling to my mom’s or even just running around town doing errands! Anytime anyone asks about how I trained my girls so soon and so QUICK…. I refer them to your ebook…it really does work!!! So THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! You and your book have been a huge blessing!

Sincerely,
Lorraine Flores

Hi Lora,

Sorry I havent been in touch before now, we had to move out due to the flooding and I have also just had my second baby so I have been very busy. I wanted to let you know that we are finally toilet trained and by the 3rd day were able to go out as Alia had mastered it without many problems. A couple of dribbles here and there, but we are fully trained now for day and night.

Thank you very much - I cannot say enough good things about you to my friends - also thank you for the online support - it was great to know you were there if I needed you.

Thanks again

Tanya

thank you

Here is the original message i sent to you….

it is the beginning of the 4th day. yesterday morning i thought i was going to loose my mind. i felt like we were going backwards instead of forwards. so many accidents and so much frustration. i think in part i am a working mom, and i was at the point i was sick and tired of being in a house for three days looking at his penis all day. we did everything imaginable, baked a cake, play dough, arts and crafts, music and dance time, reading, swinging and outside play, trains, cars etc….i don’t know how all you stay at home moms do it. i told my girlfriend, my 150 $ a week in daycare is a good investment. i think i would be on xanax if not! LOL. my hats off to you!

in the afternoon my husband stayed with him while i got out and ran some errands. and i got a phone call that he pooped on the potty and hasn’t had an accident since. he woke up dry from his nap and this morning as well. so far so good this morning. he went to the potty twice already no accidents. after i felt like we had a breakthrough with the poop i felt relieved and started enjoying things. i had to change my way of thinking. i have never seen my kid so happy and so proud of himself. we even went out to dinner last night with no problems.

so what should i expect from here on out? i know that he will still have accidents somewhat. now that it has clicked, how long do i keep following this method until he initiates going to the bathroom on his own? do i continue to keep waking him up 1 hour after bedtime to take him to the potty, and how long do i do that for?

any suggestions for dealing with him while out and about for the day? what do i do if he starts grabbing himself and i have no potty to get to in time? how long before he actually tells me verbally that he has to go? as you can imagine while in a store or visiting with friends you get wrapped up in conversation and not watching him every second of the day. so it would be hard to catch him if he is only giving physical (grabbing) signs. what do i do in these cases?

again, thank you for your support and advise, although thru this process i thought at some point the white coats were going to come and carry me away. LOL

potty training is almost as bad as having an infant sucking on boobs every two hours and getting no sleep! LOL

thanks again!

p.s. i would like to add since you have been gone, it is now the end of day 5. i woke up this morning to the sounds of keagan’s potty chair playing music. i looked and he was in the bathroom with his pants around his ankle going to the potty. i can’t believe it! we had to take an hour trip one way to my husbands grandfather’s house for father’s day. he waited until we got there and pee’d in the potty. we have been accident free today! we are headed back to daycare tomorrow and i am less apprehensive then i was a couple of days ago. his is like this strong little boy with so much confidence now. it is amazing to watch! i think he will do fine, but i still am worried about her putting him in pull ups. thru this whole process i have only had to change his sheets twice. it was the best investment i have ever made. thank you.

I’m a true skeptic by nature

Lora,

I am a true skeptic by nature. My daughter is SUPER STUBBORN. She even told me one day, put a diaper on me so that I can go to the bathroom. It was at that point that I knew she was READY. Being a teacher, I knew I would have extended time at home in a couple of weeks so I began telling her that June 1st was “All Panties All the Time”. I had been trying the padded panties with zero success and was getting VERY frustrated. June 1st and 2nd weren’t viable options for training so we began on June 3rd. That morning I was searching the internet for training methods and ran across your book. We went to the store in her padded panties and purchased everything that we needed.

She had a LOT of accidents that day. I figured it was a giant failure but stuck with it. The next day we had two accidents in the morning and NONE the rest of the day. The next morning she woke up dry and has stayed that way ever since. A little less than a day and half and she’s all done. We went to a water park this week and she remembered to tell me that she needed to go…no more swimmie diapers either.

Thanks a million!!!

Another success story from England

Hello Lora,

A few months ago I read your website about potty training and bought your Ebook and prepared myself for the potty traing of my 2 1/2 year old stubborn son.

It was the Easter weekend that I planned all this for and the weather was lovely. My partner was off from work too and working in the garden.

Day three was a great success and he was wearing stickers on all his clothes for being such a good boy. No accidents and he received his presents with pride!

Day four we wents to two seperate supermarkets and he went to the toilet in one and stayed in the trolley during the other shop and went to toilet as soon as we got home.

This was my biggest challenge and we managed it brilliantly and I could shout this form the roof tops. I AM SO HAPPY.

We use washable nappies and to now only have to wash them for one baby is amazing and my eldest son seems to have grown more confident because of your way of potty training. The responsibility he had about his own habits was exactly what he needed and I only wish I had found your method before.

It is so simple, I will start my youngest when he is 22 months old.

I have also recommended you to loads of my friends and cannot thank you enough for your book.

Thank you again and good luck promoting your method!!!!!!!!!!

Many greetings from England from a Dutch girl, Yvonne Zevenbergen
