Potty Training Success!!

Lora -

Your book helped. (I know you knew this already) Mailan was pretty much potty trained in two days. . . virtually accident free in one week, save a few times that she got ‘”too ‘busy playing with friends. Now - -like ummm…. 5 weeks later or so she is 99% done. It is awesome. Your ideas weren’t profound or anything - they just made sense. Thanks!!

I used your three-day potty training system and it worked! He even is staying dry through the night now. Did you have a program about babies sleeping through the night? I can’t remember where I saw it but I thought it might be through you. I am 2 weeks away from delivering and considering my first baby didn’t sleep through the night until he was 18 months, I think I need some advice. Do you have a program or can you recommend one?

Thanks so much for the advice. It has helped me to stay positive and focused. I was at my wits end that day. Things are going great. Sarah’s not 100% there yet with potty and warning me when she has to go but lately we have been getting more and more close to getting it right. The biggest win was yesterday when she actually warned me in plenty of time for poopies and then did it in her potty. Then, last night, not only did she stay dry all night long but she actually woke me up at 3:30 to go potty. It was great! Thanks so much. I know that we didn’t quite get it in 3 days but I’m pleased with the progress we’ve made and I know that this process will be shorter than if I had done it on my own. Thanks again!

Hi Lora, Thank you so much for all your great tips/advice in your book. Your method truly does work! My son got it on the 3rd day and now tells me when he has to go but I’m having a hard time getting my son to urinate soon after he wakes up from his nap and bedtime. He’s been waking up dry but I know he needs to go after not going for so many hours. I don’t know why he fights going after waking up. I’m afraid he’ll get a bladder infection if he doesn’t go right away. Please help! Thank you!

I just wanted to give you a happy ending. Our little boy is now potty trained! It is a miracle. I was skeptical of the program, but I followed it and everyone (including myself) is amazed at the results. He is not dry every night (about 50% of the time), but that is manageable–I have a temporary workaround and will implement your suggestions as soon as I am able. As for the day though he hasn’t had an accident in almost two weeks!!! Thank you for your program and encouragement! We are another success story!
