Is she regressing?

Thank you for the excellent input.

As additional info, she is definitely having a massive growth spurt, mentally and physically. She’s suddenly an inch taller. She has added tons of words to her vocabulary lately, has started riding her balance bike with her feet up, has been using “no,” a lot more freely these days and is a bit defiant sometimes, always with a smile, though…not a nasty defiance. She’s generally a pretty cooperative and very precocious kid, though.

She has a 6 yo brother, but no new babies/divorce/etc. in the house. No daycare/babysitter/anything else like that.

Her issues started about 4 days into a 7 day remodeling project that took all our attentions. (Had to replumb entire house due to leaks.) May be coincidental, but thought I should mention it. Had no water in our house, so used our guest house for bathing.  But, she used our toilets and I flushed it via a bucket of water.

To clarify, you say you think she’s not regressing.  Then, in paragraph 3, you list how to overcome regression.  Should I skip that section of the advice and just use Paragraph 4?  Or, are you telling me what to do in both 3 and 4?

Sorry, I’m a little confused.

Thank you SO much for your time and help.  I appreciate it greatly.

That’s okay, thank you so much! Zach has done pretty well the past couple days.I haven’t asked him or reminded him to go potty & he’s said, I go potty. He’s still stopping midstream, however.Yesterday after running to the potty twice & going a tiny bit, he had a big accident #1, but as he was going in his pants he ran straight into the bathroom and started crying saying, I go potty! He hasn’t done #2 though. He slept all night w/no accidents. He’s done well today, no accidents & saying, I go potty twice today. I just hope he starts going #2!!What’s your thoughts on him stopping midstream? Is this something he’ll eventually get with practice? Thank you so much again! You have been SO GREAT!!!

Venturing out? Your thoughts?

Thank you again for your help! Zach did AWESOME today! There was only one time that his underwear got a little wet! My five year old has been a great help also. I’m concerned though because he hasn’t pooped since Sunday and tomorrow I have to take my 5 yr old to school and go to a meeting for a half an hour that I usually take him with me (Weight Watcher’s), I could weigh in and skip the meeting. It’s been 3 days as of this evening, is it too soon to be venturing out? He did poop on the potty on Sunday, but that was the first and only time. What are your thoughts. Thank you so much for all your help!

Thank you for all your feedback!

I just cant believe this is day 5 and Brooke still will not go in the potty. I did get upset with her when she peed on my good rug in the dining room. I felt terrible, but part of me feels she needs a spanking to let her know I am serious. But I will pray for strenght and keep remembering what you said.

Nicole has gone on the potty all day..yah!!!!!

Thank you sooo much for your feedback and support.
