“3 day potty training” Day #2!!!!!!!!!

Ok so Caity slept through the night with no diaper!!!!!! and didn’t have one single accident!!!!!!!

But as soon as she started waking up I put her on the potty chair and she went forever, LOL.

*********************Night update:

Ok so Caity had not ONE single peepee accident in her panties today.

Yesterday was kind of messy, But man this method is awesome. I can’t believe my eyes.

It like she woke up this morning understanding that she needed to tell me that she had to pee. and we will RUNNNNNNNNN to the potty and pull down the panties and go…..then scream and jump up and down.

You can tell she is really proud of herself. Although she hasn’t left the house since monday, I would feel confident takin her to the grocery store tomarrow. if fact I might try it just to see what she does if she has a good night and morning.

She went poop in the potty once……………….Then did have an accident, but I really think it was a true accident. Beacuse she came running in saying YUCKKKK, I need peepeeeeee. And you could tell she was generaly grossed out, and she never acted grossed out by her poop when she wore diapers. it was really runny poop, and I dont think she could hold it to make it inside to the little potty.

We will see how tonight goes.

I can’t believe she hasnt had a single diaper since monday, OMG, it just seems crazy.

This is three days of total dedication, but OMG Soooooooooooo worth it.

We will be camping all weekend so more 1 on 1 time not leaving each others site, and practicing.

I feel like i’m in boot camp with my daughter. But with this kind of awesome sucess in 48hrs, I’m a true believer in the 3 days method.

Comments:

I used the 3 day potty training method without pull ups and etc. It went great. My son never had accidents through the night at all. It was the best method I have ever used. He had been potty trained for about 3 months now. The pooping in his pants takes a little longer to get over, but now he pretty much goes poop on the potty all of the time for me.

I wouldn’t trade those 3-5 days of dedication and frustration for months and months like other parents who are using pullups.

Re: Second day of training…

Good day Lora,

I’m humbled, in the least, to say that I doubted this method… I am an advocate for you here in the Seattle area - which I’m sure there are already many of “us” in the NW - but I can’t keep quiet… I find myself having to refrain from disbelief at the attempts people make and then I quickly remind myself that I didn’t come up with this method on my own and I would probably be guilty of the same attempts had I not been referred to your website….

It worked!!!!!!

Lora,

I can’t believe it!!!!  It clicked with my almost-four-year-old daughter halfway through the first day AND we have had two completely dry nights!  It’s a miracle for sure…  I never thought I would get her there!  She started out excited about throwing out the diapers and putting on big girl underwear, but after holding in her pee for most of the morning when she couldn’t any longer, I had to endure an hour and a half of crying “I don’t want to wear underwear!  I want my diapers!”  She even searched through her room for any remaining ones.  But I stuck it through and it clicked after a few times of going on the potty.  I think it made all the difference that I was not forcing her to sit on the potty.

By day three (today), she is telling us exactly when she needs to go without any prompting from us.  She even went off completely on her own and did number two all by herself and told us about it afterwards!!  The final test will be seeing how she does at day care tomorrow.  Her teacher was very supportive when I told her about it last week though, so I think we’ll be fine.

Thank you SO MUCH!!!!  I cannot begin to tell you how happy this has made us!

Peeing before bed?

Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008

My wife and I just completed the 3 Day Training with our daughter, and your system is amazing.  Your techniques, based on love and compassion, fit perfectly with the rest of our parenting and it is exactly what I have been searching for!!  It works so easily and well…thank you for sharing your knowledge!

We just have one hurdle left…our daughter still does not pee before she goes to bed.  This results in an accidend durring the night.  We have been attempting to have her pee twice before putting her down as your book suggests.  Our plan is to just stay consistant with that until she catches on.  Do you have any other suggestions?  I have also been waking her one hour after she goes to sleep and one hour before she wakes, but have the same result…go to the toilet, but no peeing.

Thanks Again!

All done potty training!

Hi Lora,

We are at the end of day 3, and I think I can safely say that Becca is potty trained! She pooped in the potty twice yesterday afternoon and once today, and she stayed dry all night last night. She did have one tee tee accident today, but everything else is going in the potty. I am amazed that this was so easy after the frustrating weeks/months it took with my boys years ago. The difference was the undivided attention given to training (whereas before I did not change our activities, etc.), your encouragement that 3 days is possible (plus knowing Ashley and Evangeline were so successful), and the commitment to positivity throughout the process. This is something that so easily can turn frustrating, so your continued emphasis on remaining positive was key.

Your program was worth well more than a pack of diapers :O)

Blessings,

julie
