Hi there

I just wanted to let you know that I did persist and on the fifth day Lenni clicked. She has been telling me when she needs to go potty ever since. She is only 18 months old and potty trained. Its fantastic.

She still claps herself after she’s been. And I wanted to thank you so much.

On the 4th day I was having second thoughts as to whether I had done the right thing, so being able to have contact with you was great.

Thank you so much, you made a daunting task very achievable and simple.

Keep doing what your doing your amazing.

Thank you so much for the 3 day potty training book, I had my doubts but my twins are both potty trained for about 1 1/2 week now. Jason took to it immediately, he had one accident the first day, and from then on he told me when he had to go. Jessica was a little harder to train, but with persistence she also learned that she had to tell me when she needed potty. Thank you so much.

You deserve another star in your crown. We picked last weekend to give it a try. Three day weekend, my husband (Tod) and I both off. It seemed the perfect weekend to get Russ over the last hurtle of potty training. We had to get over the pull-ups for everyone’s sanity. Russ was 37 months old and partially trained. He would use the potty at daycare but not at home for Mommy and Daddy. As the weekend approached we read the book. We got things ready. Then plans started to change as Russ’s rookie league baseball practice was moved to Sat. So the weekend was going to start off with baseball.

Day 1-2 were a lot of work - I caught a stomach bug on top of it.

Day 3 one accident first thing in the morning and the rest of the day we had a big boy. Night 3 dry.

Day 4 we were going through our normal routine of getting up, dress vitamins and out the door for breakfast at school (daycare). Russ has been getting up on his own and I usually tell him to get his cloths and come into my room and dress while am fixing my hair etc. and I noticed he brought clean underwear and I asked if he had wet the ones we put on fresh before he went to bed and he said no and then announced he had to go to the potty. Ever since then, he has been going on his own, which makes it 3 days and 2 nights with out an accident. It is official for me He is potty trained.

I know if have some other issues like using public bathrooms so I might still have some questions but now I know who to ask.

Thank you for the extra push to get this hurdle completed

Respectfully,
ReGina, Tod and of course Russ

RE: third day

Hello,

I just wanted to let you know that by the middle of the second day I was ready to give up at that point my mother called and said to stay with it for the three days. That afternoon it started to click. My son indicated that he needed to go to the washroom for both poop and pee. He has decided that yew, ick is the signal its time to go. He woke up dry from his nap and on the second night he only wet the bed once- mainly because I did not wake up therefore my fault. It is the start of day three and he woke up dry this morning after his one accident at night. He has not had an accident yet and he has been up for 3-4 hours, yes he has peed already at his choosing. This is great.

A few questions:

My son seems to squirt in his underpants and typically goes to the washroom but does not pee in the potty. Is this normal and what can be done to rectify this actionn?

There are times when he wants to go to the washroom and just play on the toilet. Lifting the seat sitting down, then getting off putting on the potty ring and sitting back down, then getting off and taking off the potty ring and then sitting on the toilet. Sometimes this activity continues until he starts to leak at which time he settles and releases. Is this a problem or what can be done to change this behavior.

Do I need to be concerned about this issues or is normal behavior for a 22 month old boy?

Thank you for your time

Lora,

You were right! Hallelujah! Finally, after the 4th day, just all of a sudden, my sweet son came to me with a funny look and said, “Mama, I gotta go now”. I rushed him to the bathroom, and he did both #1 and #2! Today is the 6th day and he’s kept his same underwear on All Day Long:) Thank you so much! I’ll support you with a comment on your website if you need me to. I’m completely amazed:0. It really works. This will pay for itself in less than one month by not having to buy diapers.

Thanks again,
Ann Foster
