We have SUCCESS!!! Michael is doing GREAT! He hasn’t had an accident in two days and today he had his first BM as a big boy!!! I am truly amazed at his progress, and I thank you so very much. I have to admit I was skeptical, but, persistence has paid off in a big way. I’m at the last day of your 3 day program and I will keep it up until we have complete success every day. He actually said “Mommy I need to go bathroom!” and ran to the potty!

Thank you!

From Mike Thompson regarding Duncan

Woo-hoo! Success!

The biggest thing we learned from your method was to be consistent and to plan ahead to make sure we had the time (several days) to commit to potty, potty, potty. We were not doing well in those respects and once we got consistent and committed, woo-hoo!

Duncan is going to be 4 in August, and we were getting worried that his refusal to do number two was going to impact his ability to start JK.

He did it!

We might be the only family to actually send video of the big event, but I couldn’t resist. Taking a video is one of the ways we reward the kids for doing well because it lets them know just how happy we are with their achievement. Just because it was the potty doesn’t mean there was no video…

Here you go, and thanks very much.

I wanted some pointers

I have to say that I have read the booklet and this is an excellent way of potty training children. I actually bought it because my 3 year old daughter is in the process of potty training now since she was just over 2 and it’s been a struggle mostly from my part because i’m just haven’t been consistant enough and sending her mixed messages. I also have a 6 year old and he was a struggle as well and a 4 month old who I will be using this method with when the time comes. But I bought the booklet because I wanted some pointers and see what i’m doing wrong. Since she’s been soing very well this past week I jsut took some of the ideas from you and are using it with what I have been doing. I love the way you give people what to say to their kids because a lot of times parents just don’t realize what they are saying to their children is wrong.

She has been using pull ups at nap and bedtime. But her nap was dry and I tried to put her on the toilet right when she woke up and she didn’t have to go and stayed dry for over an hour after. So now we are trying bedtime and I have a reward for her in the morning. But the odest thing about this whole experience is that my daughter has been telling me when she has to use the toilet in public at the store or where ever and used the public potties no problem so I realized that I needed a little boost at home and it was really time for her. So I want to thank you for the wonderful booklet and even though I didn’t follow it exactly with my daughter since she was on her way, I will definetly follow it with my youngest when the time comes and it won’t take a year as it has with my first 2.

Once again sorry for any inconvience before and thank for getting this out to me as soon as you could. I thought you just had a business and didn’t realize you had so many children you were caring for.

Consistency Works Wonders

Lora,

Well, we started last Wednesday, by mid day Thursday I thought nothing was going to happen. It seemed to be getting worse!! She was getting kind of stubborn about it, so I introduced “Potty Candy” (starburst jelly beans) and told her that when she went pee or poo in the potty she could have 2 potty candies. She liked that idea, but was quite upset when I didn’t give her more or when she didn’t produce, but I stuck to my guns. The candy inspired her to try a little more often and soon she was having no trouble sitting & “tinkling”. On Friday, we had NO accidents!!! On Saturday, only 1 pee & 1 poo accident, but 2 poos made it!!! Sunday, only one poo accident. So, she is back at daycare in big girl panties today!! She also stayed dry at naps 4 out of the 5 days, so we are totally panties all day.

Consistency works wonders!!! Your guide gave me the inspiration to really go at this in the right way. My 5 year old was a nightmare to train, so I was expecting the worse again!!! I believe now, if I had done this same thing with him at around 22-26 months we wouldn’t have had all the problems we had!

Thank you!

Missy & Delaney!!
