child tells me when they have to go potty

Lora, Thank you, thank you, thank you! It was so nice just to know someone else knew what I was going through, and that you wanted us to succeed! Today was Monday the 4th day after following your exact advice, and we spent the second half of the day accident free! I’ve never been so excited to go to the bathroom:) At the end of day 3 she finally got back with the program. Even if we still needed to change her undies after each visit I didn’t care because she was catching her self, and finishing in the potty again. And day 4 started similar but ended with 4 consecutive fully successful runs. She even came to me and said, “Mama, potty”! Thank you, thank you, thank you! You are a wonderful woman, and I fully recommend your eBook. It really made all the difference to have someone to talk with. And you truly did all that you promised on your site. I pray that you will have much success, and that the Lord will bless your family:)
Thank you for everything,
Michelle

I just had to write so I could thank you! My wife and I have a 38 month old son (our only child) who up until this past weekend showed no interest in potty training. We had been following the “he’ll do it when he’s ready” approach that was recommended by many people near and dear to us — but there were no signs of progress with this method. I found your web site and ordered the pdf last week. We started our training on Saturday, and by the end of the day I was a little discouraged. He didn’t seem to be “getting it”. By Sunday however, he was a pro! He loves showing off his new found skills, and couldn’t wait to get to daycare today to show his teachers.
I wish we found you a year ago!
Many thanks,
The Tremper family

Hi there
I just wanted to let you know that I did persist and on the fifth day Lenni clicked. She has been telling me when she needs to go potty ever since. She is only 18 months old and potty trained. Its fantastic.
She still claps herself after she’s been. And I wanted to thank you so much.
On the 4th day I was having second thoughts as to whether I had done the right thing, so being able to have contact with you was great.
Thank you so much, you made a daunting task very achievable and simple.
Keep doing what your doing your amazing.
From a mum to mum

Hi Lora
thanks for your advice. I will try your nightly advice. Good news.. except the night time accident, my daughter has not has an accident since Sunday midnight. She back to day care center full time on Monday. The child care center reminded my daughter in regular base for potty and bring the group in potty once a while. I was told she did it at least three time in potty.
The most amazing thing… She came to tell me “pee pee” three time last night after child care center. One time she had pee pee right away. The second time, she had nothing but she refused to leave the potty. So I think she know she needs to go but just need some time. After a while, she told me she is done and left the potty empty. The thrid time she wanted to go, she did the No.2 right away.
My husband and I are very amazing the transition. Thanks a lot on your ebook and email support. I will continue to work on her night time.
thanks Glory

Boot Camp Update
So I know that all of our readers have anxiously been awaiting an update on Potty Training Boot Camp. Yeah right, I know you might not care about our potty adventures but you’re going to hear about it anyways.
Yesterday was a LONG day. On Thursday, the day we began boot camp, he had lots of accidents in the morning and afternoon but by 4:00pm on Thursday through 9:00am Friday morning he didn’t have a single accident. He was excited about his big boy undies and frequent sticker rewards and was telling us when he needed to go potty. He even got up at 2:00am and called for me because he had to go potty and then went right back to bed. So we started off Friday morning feeling pretty cocky….our kid had mastered the potty training in 24 hours. HA! (Pride cometh before the fall!) So I guess at 9:00am Friday the novelty of the big boy potty had worn off and he defiantly went potty wherever and whenever he pleased. Ugh. So we went to bed Friday night convinced that Lora Jensen never had a child like Benjamin and this 3 day theory was never going to work. HOWEVER, we had NO ACCIDENTS TODAY! Oh yeah! We reminded him less frequently as the day went on and he still told us when he had to go potty every time! I could not be more excited. I know that we are going to have occasional accidents for awhile yet when he gets busy playing and I am not reminding him as much to tell me when he has to go and we still have to work on his fear of going #2 sitting down (don’t you love that I am giving you all these details?!), but we we are D-U-N, done with diapers. I would highly recommend Lora Jensen’s method to any and all moms. Word of warning, it is VERY time consuming for three days. I have not left the house and I am going completely stir crazy but I know Benjamin and I know how strong willed he is and I have no doubt if we had tried any other way to potty train we would have battled him for months. Also, her recommended age to potty train is 22 months. The older a child gets the more set in their ways they get. Benjamin is two years, five months and I do see why this method would work even better with a younger kiddo. So start young and save yourself months of buying diapers!
